Weber Summit S-660 Built-In Stainless Steel Gas Grill

The Weber Summit S-660 built-in stainless steel gas grill is a built-in version of the Summit S-670. However, the S-660 is larger and has six burners that allow all the benefits of a Weber Summit gas barbecue grill in an insert appliance. this insert gas grill is quite unique and large so you should be sure that you can fit it before you purchase.

This grill has everything that you might want in a configured gas barbeque grill, but at a cheaper price than other similar gas grills such as the fully-designed rotisserie grill with the infrared burner. you can also get an internal smoker burner, with the option of a flush situated in the rear burner part.

The Summit S-660 integral gas grill can be compared to the largest of the Weber gas grills. with about 620+ sq. inches of main cooking area, you can have more room for even the largest special gatherings. The six burner style gives you a wide choice of flexibility, it comes with an infrared rotisserie burner with full set, boasting a 10,500 BTU infrared burner and an 8,000 BTU smoker burner with smoker crate and a 10,000 BTU sear burner.

As an insert grill, this model has a unique size and shape with the twin door cabinet situated in the grill and below the grill allowing enough storage space, acting as another storage space when you are not grilling, it also can be used as a safety device to separate the grilling chamber from the enclosure.

Take Your Cookout To The Next Level With A Weber Summit 450

The Weber Summit 450 is a unique grill that offers that old-fashioned charcoal flavor without the mess and difficulty of grilling with charcoal. having four burners, the 450 allows for optimum cooking temperatures without compromising that rich moist flavor.

How exactly does it do this? the 450 has patented Flavorizer bars that use the drippings from the food to create smoke that flavors the food even further. These bars sit above each of the burners so that this smoking occurs as the food is cooking. This smoke flavor is what everyone enjoys about eating food that is cooked on the grill. the individual burners allow you to tailor the heat to the food being cooked so that each type of food can be cooked to perfection.

In addition to the burners in the main cooking area, the 450 has a side burner that is exposed by lifting a panel. This side burner is perfect for cooking the accompanying vegetable or other side dish. This way you do not have to cook separately in the house, unable to mingle with your guests. if you don't want to use the side burner, the panel can be closed creating additional workspace on the grill.

If you have a taste for something a little different, the included rotisserie can roast a chicken evenly while keeping the meat tender and moist. you could even roast your Thanksgiving turkey on the grill with the powerful 110 volt motor that rotates the meat evenly. For those that like smoked meats, the smoker accessory is a nice feature for slow smoking meat until tender.

The sturdy construction is evident throughout and the ignition system is top-notch. As most people who use grills know, the ignition system is one of the first thing so fail. Many who have bought this grill are reporting that it's working as well as the first time they used it. Additionally, it works well in colder weather where cheaper grills fail.

The stainless steel finish only adds to the overall quality. the buffed steel hides scratches and other signs of wear and tear. Your grill will not only perform great, but will look great for years to come.

If you enjoy cooking quality food and want to extend your outdoor grilling beyond hot dogs and hamburgers, then the Weber Summit 450 is an ideal choice. With a grill like this, cooking outdoors has never been easier.

Ultimate Barbecue Grill Makes Ultimate Father’s Day Gift

Outdoor kitchens are one of the hottest home products out there, long a fixture in higher-end homes in warm weather locales, but increasingly becoming popular everywhere, both as original features of new homes and as renovations.

But not everyone wants to spend five figures on a second kitchen, and with electricity, plumbing, and masonry requirements, in addition to the actual high-priced specialized equipment, the dream of cooking and eating outdoors can quickly become an economic nightmare.

That’s where Weber’s new flagship 2011 product, the Summit Grill Center, comes in. while it will not truly replicate the full featured outdoor kitchen, it comes close, and at a price point so attractive even those who never considered a patio kitchen might take a look. I know I’d love to get one for Father’s Day.

I have long written on food, and am particularly passionate about both barbecue and grilling, and a very prolific cook, and I will first say that Weber makes awesome gas grills, easily the best in its mid-high price range. In the $3-700 range, Weber’s gas grills are more costly then the big box store versions, but far less than true commercial style grills, and even the least expensive feature the company’s innovative linear burners and air flow design that essentially allows its grills to cook like convection ovens, with minimal flare up and excellent temperature control. that means I can cook a whole turkey on the grill if I want, flipping it just once during the entire cooking process. they are also well made of heavier gauge steel and hold up much better to the elements than grills costing just slightly less. I currently run two large Weber gas grills, two and seven years old respectively and love them.

The new Summit Grill Center is my grill on steroids. it packages a 6-burner main grill (basically the company’s highest end Summit S-670 model), complete with motorized rotisserie and a separate, back-mounted infrared rotisserie burner, and then adds a high temperature searing burner, a stainless steel smoking box with burner for making true barbecue, and an exterior side mounted stovetop style burner for pots and pans. there is plenty of enclosed, cabinet style underneath storage space, stainless steel countertops and even lights built into the ‘ front handle bar that illuminate the cooking surface when you raise the lid. the Grill Center is available with or without the “Social Area,” essentially another cabinet that meets the 9 ½ foot wide grill and makes the unit into an L-shape, adding more countertop, a handy condiment rail and paper towel rod, a built-in stainless steel ice bin that mimics having a fridge, and four more individual sealed storage spaces, plus a slide out garbage can that can be emptied from the front or back.

With its multiple units aligned the Summit Grill Center also looks like a dedicated outdoor kitchen, especially with the Social Area L-shape, and fully loaded costs less than $4,500. Without the Social Area it is about $1000 less. it lacks the running water and powered refrigerator a true outdoor kitchen would have, but it also costs a third to a quarter of installing something similar permanently. bottom line: this is one mean barbecue grill!

The Weber Summit Grill Center with Social Area is available in all stainless steel, or black enamel with stainless accents, both at the same price.

PS: Superstar chef and author Emeril Lagasse has his own line of pots, pans and sauces, and now grills. I have not tried them and cannot vouch for the quality, but Emeril’s pots are pretty good, and the big news here is that his new grills are being manufactured in partnership with Mississippi based Viking, the well-known commercial range and high-end residential kitchen appliance specialist. You can already buy Viking grills under the Viking label but they are considerably more expensive, though this is not a case of apples and oranges. The new Emeril line includes a 4-burner gas grill ($799) and large charcoal kettle grill ($299), both in Viking’s traditional stainless steel.
