Since I love grilling, I would share with you about my Weber Performer Charcoal Grill. although there are a lot of gas grills currently, I prefer using a charcoal grill. Why? Because it gives me original charcoal taste. With my Weber Performer, I can grill easily like using a gas grill. hopefully, you can take some benefits from my review, especially if you consider a charcoal grill at this moment.
Weber Performer Grill - the most Beneficial Features I Like
In my opinion, here are some benefits of Weber Performer Grill:
- Cooking space: with 22.5 inch grill and large built-in serving table, I have lots of cooking space.
- Construction: high quality of construction and for long-lasting use.
- Assembling: since this grill has been pre-assembled at purchase, I just needed to finish it at home. It was very easy to assemble it. the parts consist of crack-proof all-weather wheels, heavy-duty steel cart frame, a wire bottom shelf for storage, and locking casters.
- Charcoal bin: I can place my charcoal in charcoal container for just quick use. I love this feature.
- Cleaning up the ash: due to the removable ash catcher, I can clean up the ash after grilling easily. It doesn't rust either.
- Taste of the food: I can get original grill taste. It is really delicious and juicy as well.
- Control buttons: I can simply customize the functions by pushing the button controls.It is also very easy to use.
- Built-in thermometer: the thermometer on this grill is very accurate.
- Touch-N-Go gas ignition system: there is no more dangerous lighter fluid to mess with environment. I can put the charcoal in the charcoal chimney, then put the chimney on the burner. And easily turn on the system. That's all. the charcoal will be lit about 2-5 minutes.
- Gas tank: tank lasts a long time although I use this grill very often.
- Durability: because of these following components, this grill lasts for several years and durable: aluminum vents, porcelain-enameled kettle, and glass-reinforced nylon handles.
- Weber recipe book. I have already tried some recipes and they were delicious.
- Warranty: a 10-year limited warranty.
All in all, I am very satisfied with those features I mentioned above. therefore I decide to use a charcoal grill until now.
Weber Performer Grill: Summary
With Weber Performer, I can grill with charcoal grill much easier. although there are 3 colors available: green, dark blue and black, I love my black one. I realize that it takes a little bit longer than using gas grill. But I think, the taste of steak from a charcoal grill is more delicious than from a gas grill.

JENKINS, KY (RNN) – A Kentucky man remains unapologetic for a prank he pulled on local police – even after they put him in jail for it.
Michael Baker, 20, posted a photo of himself on Facebook that shows him smiling while he siphons gasoline from a Jenkins, KY, police cruiser.
Even his friends knew it was a dumb thing to do.
"I'm sorry, but that's funny. & stupid!" one of Baker's friends said in a comment to his post.
Police officers obtained a copy of the photo, and arrested Baker on Monday, charging him with theft by unlawful taking, a misdemeanor.
Baker was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Letcher County District Court.
In the photo, taken by his girlfriend, Baker defiantly flipped his middle finger into the air as he streamed fuel from the car into a red gas can sitting on the ground.
Baker was released Tuesday and posted on his Facebook page, "just got out of jail," which drew sarcastic comments from about four of his friends.
Baker didn't appear too contrite over the crime.
"yea lol u would just have to seen it it was funny as hell tho," he wrote in one Facebook page, according to the Smoking Gun.
Jenkins Police, however, were slightly less amused, and referred to the Facebook photo in their arrest warrant.
